Multidisciplinary Feeding Clinic

Dietitian & Speech Pathologist working together

One Assessment. Complete Understanding.

Feeding difficulties are complex. They involve nutrition, oral motor skills, sensory processing, and more—all at the same time. That's why we assess your child together.

Curious Kids Dietitian have partnered with Let’s Talk Let’s Eat Speech Pathology. In our joint clinic, a paediatric dietitian and speech pathologist see your child at the same appointment. We watch, discuss, and problem-solve together in real-time, giving you one clear picture of what's happening and what will help.

What We Assess

During your appointment, we look at your child's feeding from every angle:

  • How your child moves their mouth when eating (chewing, swallowing, tongue movement), if appropriate

  • Whether they're eating enough for growth and nutrition

  • What textures they can manage safely

  • How they respond to different foods (sensory reactions)

  • Positioning and seating during meals

  • Signs of difficulty or discomfort when eating

  • How medical conditions affect feeding

  • What's working well and what's challenging

What Happens at Your Appointment

Before You Arrive

Interview & Observation (40 minutes)

We talk with you about your child's feeding. You only need to tell your story once—both professionals hear it together.
